The Post Graduate Teacher Apprenticeship

The Orange Moon Education Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship (PGTA) is a 12-month, fully funded and salaried teacher training programme, with flexible entry points, which leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the option to obtain PGCE. Whilst this collaborative teacher training programme offers ‘on the job’ training, it also weaves in bespoke specialist support where required and a six-week ‘complimentary experience’ in a contrasting educational setting.

This programme suits both those already employed in a school setting as well as those joining a school as a new PGTA trainee. Our unique blended learning model combines school-centred initial teacher training, classroom-based professional studies and online tuition.
